Sebastian Lo Zio
2025 brought this 58-year-old professor as much pain and misery as one person could endure. It was a year filled with loss, heartbreak and betrayal. Yet it also forced me to reflect on the fifteen years of my life that followed my divorce.
During that time, I met women of all ages and backgrounds, but it was the ones in their twenties who brought me the greatest excitement, pleasure and meaning.
Make no mistake, I was never anyone’s sugar daddy, but I was their daddy and that is something very different. While sugar relationships are transactional by nature, I approached every young woman I dated as a potential partner from the very first meeting.
These were not conquests. They were milestones, important markers in a journey that ultimately forced me to confront what truly mattered before it was too late.
This memoir is told in a conversational style, with a curated Spotify playlist accompanying each chapter. Grab a coffee and sit with me as I recount my encounters with nine women who taught me about generational sex, rising anxiety, estrangement from parents, sexual power, love, the value of comfort and ultimately, myself.
You will have secret access to what happens in bars, night clubs and golf courses. You will learn about the siren's call and may even find out what your daughters (and husbands) are doing when mom is busy.
Each chapter has a sonic companion containing music reflective of my time with each woman. Sometimes it was music we shared and sometimes the songs are reminders of the era. Play it loud or in the background for an immersive experience.
